Thompson Thrift is developing The Junction at Rockledge, a 380-unit luxury community in Rockledge, Fla., on the Space Coast, roughly east of Orlando. Construction is set to start before the end of the year, with first move-ins expected in early 2025.
The developer acquired the land for $16.3 million, public records show. PNC Bank provided a $76.5 million construction loan, according to the same source.
Plans call for multiple two-story buildings across 25 acres. Units will be available in one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans, up to 1,500 square feet. Apartments are set to feature washers and dryers, with stainless steel appliances and private patios or balconies in select units.
Common-area amenities will include a fitness center, swimming pool, outdoor entertainment kitchen, courtyards with grills, dog run and pet spa, along with pickleball courts, a coffee bar and a social hub. In addition, plans call for beachfront amenities near an adjacent lake.
The Class A community will rise at 4101 Fiske Trail, close to USSSA Space Coast Complex, an 85-acre multi-sport campus. Rockledge Gardens and Avenue at Viera, a 62-acre outdoor lifestyle center that provides a host of retail and dining options, will be within 4 miles.
Earlier this year, Thompson Thrift announced the development of Standard441, a 300-unit luxury community in Lady Lake, Fla. The developer is also working on other projects in Florida: The Quinn—a 324-unit community in Pensacola—and The Concord—a 257-unit luxury property in Sarasota. These three projects are all expected to come online later next year.
