Mill Creek Residential has broken ground on Amavi Sherrills Ford, a 134-unit single-family, build-to-rent community in Sherrills Ford, N.C., within the 206-acre Village at Sherrills Ford, a master-planned mixed-use community. First move-ins are expected for summer 2023.
Upon completion, Amavi Sherrills Ford will encompass two- and three-bedroom homes of 962 and 1,236 square feet, respectively. Interiors will feature modern appliances, kitchen islands, granite countertops and wood plank-style flooring. Amenities will include a clubhouse, swimming pool, outdoor barbeque, playground and pet park.
The development site is 35 miles north of Charlotte along Highway 150, with dining and retail options nearby, including a Publix supermarket. The property has access to Lake Norman State Park.
Amavi Sherrills Ford is Mill Creek’s latest project in the North Carolina area. Earlier this year, the company broke ground on Amavi Coddle Creek community in Mooresville, a Charlotte suburb, only 12 miles from Sherrills Ford.
