Baranof Holdings acquired a 100,417-rentable-square-foot property. The asset, managed by CubeSmart, last changed hands in 2021, when KKR bought the facility from The Rosewood Corp., Yardi Matrix data shows.
Extra Space Storage has acquired a 52,203-rentable-square-foot facility. The asset, under Public Storage management, previously traded in 2021, when KKR purchased the property from Capella Capital Partners, according to the same data provider.
Extra Space Storage owns 18 self storage properties in Austin, totaling approximately 1.5 million square feet, Yardi Matrix research shows. In the second half of 2022, the company bought a 92,288-square-foot facility in Austin from Endeavor Real Estate Group.
