RangeWater Real Estate has broken ground on a 154-unit townhome project in San Antonio. Caliza at the Loop marks the company’s first ground-up development and second single-family rental community in the San Antonio market.
The two properties are part of RangeWater’s Storia division, which deploys capital across the Sun Belt to develop build-to-rent single-family units.
Caliza at the Loop’s first move-ins are scheduled for May 2023. The townhomes will feature a three-bedroom floorplan with an average size of 1,600 square feet. Common-area amenities will include a fitness center, playground, clubhouse, grilling area, business center and swimming pool.
Nick Wilhelmson, the firm’s managing director of the Southwest, commented in prepared remarks that the property is situated near some of San Antonio’s best schools and recreation areas. He also added that the community will boast an impressive amenity package, as well as high-quality designer finishes.
Located on the Texas State Highway Loop 1604, the 16.53-acres site is close to interstate 10, in proximity to several dining and retail venues. The site is only a 20-minute drive from San Antonio International Airport and downtown San Antonio. Brooke Army Medical Center and three military bases are within a 10-mile radius.
RangeWater Real Estate recently began construction on a development that will feature 24 townhouses and 326 apartment units in Manor, Texas.
