Cityview has completed The Parker, a 123-unit community in West Los Angeles. The development team included WPIC Construction as general contractor, Nadia Geller Design as interior designer and Labib Funk + Associates as structural engineer, while AC Martin provided architecture services.
Cityview started construction of the project in February 2021. Prior to the groundbreaking, the developer had obtained a $44.5 million construction loan from City National Bank, Yardi Matrix data shows.
The Parker comprises studio, one- and two-bedroom floorplans, ranging between 452 and 1,110 square feet, together with 4,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. A total of 13 units are affordable.
Common-area amenities at the 0.6-acre property include a fitness center, clubhouse, swimming pool, spa and open-air cinema, as well as coworking spaces. Built according to LEED Silver standards, the transit-oriented community features energy efficient HVAC and lighting systems, and cisterns that harvest rainwater for irrigation, reducing water consumption by up to 60 percent.
Located at 5935 W. Pico Blvd. in the Pico-Robertson neighborhood, The Parker is close to numerous dining options. West Hollywood and Beverly Hills are within a 3-mile radius, while LAX is 9 miles southwest.
Earlier this year, Cityview completed another Los Angeles community that added 296 units to its portfolio and broke ground on a 265-unit project that is expected to come online in 2025. The developer’s City of Angels footprint also includes Belle on Bev, a 243-unit development approaching completion.
