Tidhar Group has obtained a $80 million construction loan from BHI for a condominium development underway in Manhattan’s Gramercy Park neighborhood. Glacier Global Partners is the developer, while CM & Associates Construction Management serves as general contractor, as revealed by New York YIMBY. Delivery is expected in 2024.
Designed by CetraRuddy Architecture, under Yoel Shargian’s supervision, the building is set to rise 19 stories at 200 E. 20th St. Upon completion, the high-rise will encompass 52 apartments and 2,730 square feet of ground-floor retail. Planned amenities include a fitness center, pet spa and children’s room, as well as shared outdoor terraces and bicycle storage.
The development site is less than a mile from the landmark Flatiron Building and 1 mile from Union Square. The condo building will be surrounded by Manhattan’s wide array of retail, dining and entertainment offerings.
New York’s condo builders are devoted to meeting the residents’ needs as people adjust to the pandemic-induced lifestyle changes. Outdoor patios, green areas and coworking spaces are some of the most sought-after amenities.
