Urban Moment Development has begun preleasing YardHomes Juniper Pointe, a new 248-unit single-family rental community in San Antonio. The community is scheduled to officially open to residents in December.
Located at 2084 Alamo Parkway, the community features one-, two- and three-bedroom homes ranging from 635 square feet to 1,375 square feet. Each unit includes more than 250 square feet of fenced-in outdoor space, a kitchen island or an extended bar and walk-in closets.
Ring doorbells, smart thermostats and keyless entry are some of the technologies incorporated into the fully electric community.
Community amenities at YardHomes Jupiter Pointe include an event lawn, fitness center, dog park, pet wash station and pool alongside fire pits, grilling stations and parks. The gated community includes on-site maintenance and management teams.
The development is being constructed on an approximately 38-acre site, Yardi Matrix data shows. Downtown San Antonio is approximately 20 miles east of YardHomes Juniper Pointe, with dining, retail and entertainment options.
YardHomes Juniper Point is Urban Moment Development’s third community of the same single-family rental design concept and the first in San Antonio. In prepared remarks, Jim Campbell, founder and chairman of Urban Moment Development, said the company anticipates to open more locations in Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin and Houston.
San Antonio rentals
As of March, San Antonio ranked fourth for the most affordable multifamily rental rates in the nation. Through April, deliveries significantly slowed with only 78 units coming online since the beginning of the year. However, the area remains one of the fastest-growing metros in the nation in terms of demographic expansion.
The Frame Med Center, another single-family rental community in San Antonio, recently began leasing. Located at 8642 Oakland Rd., the property features 174 two- to four-bedroom duplex townhomes. It is roughly 12 miles from downtown San Antonio.
