A joint venture of M&R Development and Campbell Capital Group has opened its 2929 on Mayfair community, a five-story luxury community in the Milwaukee suburb of Wauwatosa, Wisc.
Located at 2929 N. Mayfair Road, 20 minutes west of downtown Milwaukee, the 258-unit structure features studio, convertible and one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. Units include modern two-tone cabinetry, nine-foot-high ceilings and subway tile in the bathroom, shower and tub, as well as French door refrigerators. A three-story clubhouse and attached courtyard includes a sun shelf. Stevens Construction was the general contractor on the project, while Poole & Poole Architecture was the architect.
“Unlike M&R’s two earlier Wisconsin projects, which were both in different stages of construction during the pandemic, 2929 on Mayfair wasn’t affected,” Anthony Rossi Sr., managing partner of M&R Development, told Multi-Housing News. “It was a straightforward project.”
The new community was constructed within walking distance of the Mayfair Mall, featuring more than 150 stores and restaurants. Also nearby are Wauwatosa West High School, several parks and restaurants. Some of the balconies at 2929 on Mayfair look out over the Blue Mound Golf and Country Club.
“We owe much of the great success of 2929 on Mayfair to the talented teams we collaborated with once again, after working with these firms on our other two recent new developments in the state, 42 Hundred on the Lake just south of Milwaukee and Elevate in Madison,” said Rossi. “Working with the stellar professionals at Poole & Poole Architecture and general contractor Stevens Construction helped make for a seamless development process.”
Apartments are available this month, with RMK Management handling leasing and management.
Other recent Wisconsin multifamily news has included MLG Capital’s acquisition of the 330-unit Market Square apartment community in Kenosha and Lincoln Capital Group’s development of the 70-unit Derby property in Madison.
