A joint venture between Cross Lake Partners and GreenPointe Developers has completed The Easton Riverview, a 300-unit luxury multifamily community in Riverview, Fla., in the Tampa area. The development is subject to a $33.1 million construction loan from Synovus Bank originated in 2021, according to Yardi Matrix data.
The property comprises 12 three-story buildings which incorporate one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans ranging from 798 to 1,478 square feet.
Apartments feature 9-foot ceilings, smart thermostats, in-unit washers and dryers, walk-in closets and private balconies or patios for select layouts. Common-area amenities include a swimming pool, a 24-hour fitness center, two dog parks, a conference room, outdoor gas grills and a car wash area, along with 450 parking spaces.
Located at 14471 Stagedoor Johnny Place, the property is off Highway 301 and close to Interstate 75. It is roughly 21 miles south of Tampa. The community is also less than 3 miles from St Joseph’s Hospital – South, while providing easy access to multiple retail and dining options at the nearby intersection of Highway 301 and Big Bend Road, including the Summerfield Crossing shopping mall.
Tampa’s robust luxury pipeline
Last year, Tampa’s inventory increased by 3 percent with the addition of more than 7,200 units, representing the market’s second-best year for multifamily completions in the last decade, a Yardi Matrix report shows. At the beginning of 2023, there were 17,200 units under construction and more than 67,200 units in the planning and permitting stages, the same source shows. Of the new developments underway, nearly 90 percent cater to the Lifestyle segment of the market.
