U.S. Development is set to build Salato Residences, a luxury, boutique condominium project featuring 40 residences in Pompano Beach, Fla., in South Florida. Randall Stofft Architects will be part of the project, with Steven G. Features designing interiors. Prices are slated to begin at $2 million. Groundbreaking is expected later this year, with delivery scheduled for 2025.
The property is expected to comprise three-bedroom floorplans ranging from 2,106 to 3,354 square feet, with 14-foot-deep terraces between 320 and 746 square feet and also including six penthouse layouts. Interior plans call for large walk-in closets, 10-foot windows and in-unit washers and dryers. Common-area amenities will encompass an ocean view swimming pool, spa with dry saunas, fitness center, event room and lounge suite.
Located at 305 Briny Ave., the site is off South Ocean Boulevard and just 100 feet from the oceanfront. It is situated roughly 3 miles from downtown Pompano Beach and 2 miles from the Pompano Beach Airpark airport. There are numerous dining and retail options along East Atlantic Boulevard, close to the property.
Florida’s already extensive condo market has seen a rise in activity following the pandemic. With the continued unpredictability of economic conditions, luxury properties are expected to not be as impacted by factors such as rising interest rates. U.S. Development CEO John Farina emphasized in prepared remarks the attraction this type of assets hold for Canadian investors particularly.
